Song Tu Tay Island’s medical staff saves decompressed diver
PANO - Medical staff of Song Tu Tay Island of Truong Sa island district of Khanh Hoa province provided first aid on March 12 to Nguyen Thang, a decompressed diver.

Earlier, patient Thang, a native of An Vinh commune of Quang Ngai province’s Ly Son district, suffered from type 1 decompression sickness while working on trawler QNg 96779 TS. Thang was having a hard breathing and his left leg was slightly paralyzed before being taken to Song Tu Tay Island.
The military medical staff of Song Tu Tay Island gave the patient effective treatment after checking up and consulting with their colleagues from the Naval Medical Hospital.
As a result, Thang is recovering now but is still under the care of the military medical staff of Song Tu Tay Island.
