New road inaugurated for ethnic minority people
PANO – Son Vi Border Post under the Ha Giang provincial Border Guard Command in Me Lau village, Son Vi commune, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province, on January 15, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a rural road and present gifts to local people.
After nearly a month of construction, the 650-meter long and 1-meter wide road was completed at the total cost of more than VND 160 million, funded by Son Vi Border Post and other sponsors.

On this occasion, sponsors and Son Vi Border Post presented 100 lunar New Year (Tet) gifts to 100 needy households in the locality, worth totally VND 50 million.
These activities contributed to promoting the beautiful image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, while implementing the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2030 period.
* On the same day, the Youth Union Organization of the Border Post of Long Sap Border Gate under the Son La provincial Border Guard Command, and other organizations, handed over 42 gifts, 20 blankets, and painted A La village’s Kindergarten campus, at the total cost of more than VND 70 million.

These voluntary activities were launched by Moc Chau district’s Youth Union Organization and other units, sharing difficulties with the school and students, while encouraging them to try their best to build a prosperous and peaceful border area in the future.
