The project has a total area of 126, including a reading room which can serve 60 people at a time, built with a total investment capital of 800 million VND, of which MR 7 supports 500 million VND and the rest is from the school's budget.

The building is scheduled to be inaugurated on the occasions of the 75th National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946-2021), 77th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and 32nd Whole People’s Defense Festive Day (December 22).

According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Cong Anh, over the past time, the military region has actively implemented mass mobilization work, especially in the areas home to ethnic minorities and religious followers.

In 2021, MR7 has spent VND 5 billion to build 32 cultural facilities for religious and ethnic minorities in the areas where they are stationed, including the construction of the above-mentioned library, contributing to deepening the military-civilian ties and educating talents for Buddhism.

Last year, the unit also donated VND 500 million to build a Cultural and Sports Complex for Hoa Binh - Xuan Loc Vocational College (in Xuan Loc diocese, Dong Nai province).
