* The Bureau of the People’s Army Newspaper in Ho Chi Minh City in association with the Oneway Media Ltd., Co. handed over 500 gifts to needy families and laborers in Binh Tan district.

Each gift, including rice, instant noodle, vegetable, and other necessities, is worth VND 300,000. The gifts were presented to help locals overcome hardships caused by the pandemic and soon stablize their life.

* Military Hospital 175 sent 15 doctors and technical staff to Go Vap district’s Hospital for COVID-19 Treatment on September 16.

Previously, Military Hospital 175 also sent 150 medical personnel to the Field Hospital for COVID-19 Treatment No.7 of Ho Chi Minh City.

* The same day, a delegation of the Long An Provincial Military Command visited and offered gifts to pandemic-hit families in Tan Tru district and Tan An commune of Can Duoc district.

These 250 gifts are donated by the Military Region 7 Command, the Bussiness Association of Ho Chi Minh City and Thang Loi Group.

On the occasion, the provincial military command in association with relevant agencies handed over two oxygen generators, 80 heart rate monitors, and 400 doses of medicine for COVID-19 treatment to Tan Tru district’s field hosital.

* The War Veterans' Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City presented numerous medical supplies to Military Hospital 175 on September 16.

The gifts, worth VND 700 million in total, include 10,000 N-95 face masks, 288 boxes of Cordyceps and a Carescape R860 ventilator.

* The Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO) handed over necessities and medical supplies, worth VND 360 million totally, to needy people and frontliners of the COVID-19 fight in Binh Chanh district.

Previously, the corporation presented 3,000 gifts to pandemic-hit family in Thu Duc city and Cu Chi and Hoc Mon districts.

Apart from giving necessities to locals, SAWACO will conduct the water-fee exemption program for poor households and concentrated quarantine areas of the city.
