Health checkups given to locals

As planned, the mission presented gifts, disinfected living environment and provided free health check-ups and medicines to the locals of Tra Leng and Tra Don communes of Nam Tra My district on November 2 and 3.

Particularly, doctors of Military Hospital 103 gave free health check-ups, presented medicines, and guided locals on how to avoid infectious diseases.

The mission also offered 1,000 pairs of trousers and 250 pairs of sandals to local people in Tra Leng and Tra Don communes.

Previously, Storm Molave wreaked havoc in localities in Nam Tra My district. Prolonged and heavy rains caused severe landslides. Especially, a landslide in Village 1, Tra Leng commune, Nam Tra My district left 22 dead and missing.

On behalf of the mission, Colonel Luong Cong Thuc, Vice Director of Military Hospital 103, sent condolences over the human losses caused by the recent natural disaster in Tra Leng commune to the local leadership and people.

He then handed VND 100 million of assistance to each commune.
