Bac Giang province’s Tan Yen district has developed and increased a specialized area for growing litchi crops to 1,300 hectares. This year, the litchi crop is estimated to yield 1,400 tons.

However, due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic in the locality, local farmers are facing various difficulties in harvesting and transporting litchi because of the shortage of workers. Therefore, local troops are helping farmers harvest litchi to ensure high quality and timely goods to export to international markets such as Japan, China, and more.

In addition, the local militia force also worked closely with relevant forces to check people and vehicles entering the district to effectively prevent COVID-19.

The PANO would like to introduce several photos of the harvest of litchi with the local militia force’s support.
