Military youth present national flags to fishermen
PANO – The Youth Committee of Nghe An Provincial Military Command on December 17 worked with Cua Lo town Military Command, Flotilla 2 of the Provincial Border Guard, Vinh University and Vietnam-RoK (Republic of Korea) College to hand over 800 national flags to fishermen in Cua Lo Town, Nghe An province, as part of the “I love my nation” movement.
At the ceremony, the organizers also presented two bicycles to local students and gifts, worth VND 500 each, to local fishermen.
Initiated by the Youth Committee of Nghe An Provincial Military Command in 2016, the movement has presented thousands of flags and hundreds of gifts to fishermen in coastal localities in Nghe An province.
This is among practical activities to disseminate the national sovereignty protection mission, encourage fishermen to continue working in the sea to both develop domestic economy and protect the sacred national sovereignty over sea and islands as well as to consolidate military-civilian solidarity.
