Military units to foster activities for public health
PANO – 13 military hospitals in the whole army will associate with localities’ leadership and local steering boards for humanitarian healthcare and treatment to provide free health check-ups, medicines, and health consultancy to policy beneficiaries, wounded and sick soldiers, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and the elderly.
The participating units and agencies were asked to prioritize those in mountainous, needy, border areas and on islands.
Most activities are conducted in the month of action in commemoration of contributions of wounded soldiers and martyrs in July under the instruction of the General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army on realizing a coordination program for public health in 2017.
The participating units and agencies were asked to prioritize those in mountainous, needy, border areas and on islands. The GDP also requested units and agencies to review the implementation of the program in 2017 in particular and in the 2014-2017 period in general and honor outstanding groups and individuals with great contributions to the activities.
