Special fair with Zero-VND products for needy people

The program featured practical activities, such as presenting 240 gift packages, building four gratitude houses, and awarding four scholarships to disadvantaged families and underprivileged students with good academic records under the “Paving the way to school for children” initiative.

Additionally, a special market fair was organized, along with free medical check-up and medicine distribution for residents in the coastal border areas of Lai Hoa and Vinh Tan communes. The total budget for the program was VND 330 million.

* The same day, in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city of Ninh Thuan province, Division 377 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service (ADAF) organized the program “A Tet of military-civilian solidarity” and launched the movement “Tree planting festival to be forever grateful to Uncle Ho” to celebrate the upcoming Tet holiday.

Presenting gifts to needy households

In his opening remarks, Colonel Vu Cao Thep, Political Commissar of Division 377, emphasized that the program serves as a significant source of encouragement and motivation for youths of the ADAF Service in general and the division in particular. Through this program, youths of Division 377, armed forces, and units stationed in the area are strengthening their bonds of solidarity, exchanging lessons on youth activities and movements, and fostering creativity and pro-activity in fulfilling their missions and contributing to the cause of national construction and defense.

Delegates planting tree

During the program, delegates participated in the tree-planting festival with officers and soldiers of Division 377’s Battalion 24, enjoyed artistic performances, and engaged in traditional folk games. The organizing panel also presented 70 gift packages to policy beneficiaries, disadvantaged households, local women’s union members, students, and Youth Union members.

The program featured a series of meaningful activities, including hosting the “Green banh chung festival,” during which 1,050 banh chung were wrapped and granted to disadvantaged families and students; presenting 269 gift packages to policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households; handing over 38 scholarships to students under the “Paving the way to school for children” and “Adopted children of border posts” initiatives, as well as to those facing special hardships; and providing a livelihood support model to assist a struggling youth family. Additionally, cultural and artistic exchanges, sports activities, and free haircuts were also held. The total budget for the program exceeded VND 200 million.
