Military units provide health checkups for people in border area
PANO - Military Hospital 91 and Economic-Defense Unit 799 of Military Region 1 have jointly provided free health checkups and medicines for 400 needy people in Thuong Ha commune, Cao Bang province’s Bao Lac district and presented gifts to 100 others who had rendered contributions to the nation in the locality.

Besides the health check-ups, doctors and nurses provided locals with health counseling and instructed them how to use medicines properly.
During the event, some locals were diagnosed with different diseases that need to be hospitalized for timely treatment.
The delegation also called at houses of some aging national contributors with poor health to give them health checkups, medicines and gifts.
The good deeds of those military doctors and nurses left deep impression on the locals and helped tighten the military-civilian ties.
According to Chairman of the Thuong Ha commune People’s Committee Nong Van Minh, the support of Military Hospital 91 and Military Region 1’s affiliated units has helped ease locals’ difficulties and inspire them to boost production and contribute more to the local development and to the safeguarding of the national sovereignty and border security.
