Military units provide free medical check-ups for needy people
PANO - On the occasion of the 71st Wounded Soldiers’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), the Central Military Hospital 108 of the Vietnam People's Army provided medical examination, health counseling, and free medicines from June 16 to 28 for more than 2,000 policy beneficiaries in the districts of Thanh Xuan, Hai Ba Trung, Ba Dinh, Thanh Oai, Ung Hoa, and Long Bien, all in Hanoi Capital.

This annual activity of the Central Military Hospital 108 demonstrates the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” and is part of the activities in implementing the gratitude policies.
Accordingly, the medical staff with high qualification and skills and modern medical equipment were sent to the districts to carry out these activities for local people.
Earlier, the hospital actively coordinated with the Hanoi Capital Military Command and military units to inform local people about the program.
The delegation sent medical teams to families with elderly and weak members to carry out medical examination and treatment for them. Those with severe illnesses were referred to the hospital for further treatment.
