According to Lieutenant Colonel Le Phuoc Thanh, Deputy Commander of the Hoi An municipal Military Command, the unit, in coordination with local authorities, evacuated nearly 1,000 people to safer places, and asked 175 trawlers to anchor at ports, contributing to minimizing human and property losses.

In Da Nang city, the Son Tra district’s Military Command  worked with military units of  Naval Region 3 and Brigade 83 (Naval Service) and Border Guard Post of Son Tra district (Da Nang municipal Border Guard Command) to support local fishermen to take refuge from the storm and move nearly 6000 people to safer places.

In Thua Thien-Hue province, the storm left one death, 95 injured, 10 collapsed houses and ripped the roofs off 6,770 houses. After receiving the information, the provincial Military Command directed its affiliated units to help the storm-hit victims get back to their normal lives.

Reportedly, 400 troops and 3,500 militiamen were mobilized to support them in overcoming the consequences of storm. The forces cleaned the environment, repaired houses, and cleared roads.
