To date, the concentrated quarantine facility in Regiment 244 has accommodated 700 people. All Vietnamese expatriates are currently in good health conditions.

* Previously, youth union members of Lao Cai High School No.1 and Criminal Police Division of the provincial Police Department visited and presented gifts, worth VND 20 million, including 100 packages of instant noodles, 100 boxes of canned meat and some other necessities, to border guard troops at four border checkpoints under the Border Guard Station of the Lao Cai International Border Gate.
With the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vietnam Border Guard Command has mobilized 280 cadres, lecturers, and cadets of the Border Guard Academy to assist people in the Northern region in preventing and controlling the pandemic.
Accordingly, they have joined hands with troops and people in border areas to effectively control border activities, thereby contributing to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
