Military unit recruits martyrs’ relatives
PANO – The Quang Tri provincial Military Command held a meeting on December 14 to announce employment decisions and handed the rank of Non-Commissioned Officer to relatives of the martyrs, who had sacrificed their lives while undertaking search and rescue missions.
Particularly, Non-Commissioned Senior Lieutenant Do Thi Lan Huong, wife of martyr Colonel Bui Phi Cong, and Non-Commissioned Second Lieutenant Nguyen Thi Giao Linh, wife of martyr Lieutenant Colonel Pham Ngoc Quyet were employed on the occasion. The two martyrs died when conducting rescue missions at the Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant in Xuan Phong commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province and in Huong Phung commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.
On behalf of the provincial Military Command, its Commander Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan sent his deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the martyrs, stressing that the sacrifices of martyrs have displayed the good virtues and traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers. He hoped that the two servicewomen would overcome their difficulties to fulfill all assigned missions.
In turn, Non-Commissioned Senior Lieutenant Do Thi Lan Huong, on behalf of the martyrs’ families, showed her deep gratitude for the care of the Party, State, Military, the Military Region 4 Command and the Quang Tri provincial Military Command over the past time.
She promised to quickly adapt to the new working environment and be ready to undertake and complete all assigned tasks.
