Meaningful gifts sent to needy people
PANO - On the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and the 29th Whole People's Defense Festive Day (December 22), the Thua Thien - Hue provincial Military Command on December 20 presented gifts to local needy people.
Accordingly, the unit presented 40 gifts to policy and poor families, national contributors in the villages of Ta and Ta Ay, Hong Trung commune, A Luoi district. The gifts, worth more than VND 15 million in total, consisted of warm clothing and blankets.

The program aimed to share difficulties and hardships with poor ethnic minority people in border areas, thus promoting good traditions and great military-civilian ties.
The program also contributed to effectively implementing a movement for the poor.
