Historical memorial unveiled in Da Nang
PANO - The memorial site of the former revolutionary base B1 - Hong Phuoc was unveiled on March 25 in Lien Chieu district of Da Nang City in celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the city's liberation day (March 29, 1975).

During the national resistance wars, the former base had 46 secrete underground hideouts for revolutionaries. This locality has witnessed many revolutionaries fighting heroically and sacrificing themselves for the national salvation.
The memorial complex was constructed on a total area of 2,784 sq.m., consisting of a stele, a hall of fame, a meeting hall, and other auxiliary projects. It costs over VND 7.5 billion, of which VND 4.3 billion was funded by the city and the remainder by the district.
