Health care activities provided to needy people in Binh Phuoc

Welcoming locals to the health care program

Accordingly, the hospital prepared modern medical equipment and sent medical staff to the locality. During the event, medical doctors and nurses wholeheartedly took care of more than 300 ethnic minority people, policy and needy households in the area. They also raised locals’ awareness of how to prevent diseases and take care of themselves.

On the occasion, the military hospital presented more than 300 gifts to the needy people in Phu Rieng district. The total cost of the activities was VND 150 million. This is one of practical activities of the hospital in celebration of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2023) and 78th anniversary of the National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2023).

The local people have their health checked.

According to Vice Chairman of the Phu Rieng district People’s Committee Bui Van Hieu, over the past years, the locality has boosted the building of new-style rural areas and taken care of locals’ life. However, there are still many difficulties facing residents in Phu Rieng district, especially those living in remote and mountainous areas. Therefore, the hospital visited and gave locals free healthcare, showing their responsibility towards them.

He also expressed his hope that in the coming time, the hospital would continue to implement such meaningful program, contributing to promoting the beautiful image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and boosting the building of new-style rural areas in the district.
