Receiving the medicine bag, Lo Van Dinh from Thanh Luong commune shared that “My health condition is unstable and I often get sick. However, due to economic difficulties, I cannot afford to see a doctor. Today I had my health examined, consulted and received medicines, so I felt at ease. Thank you very much, doctors, nurses and troops of Thanh Luong Border Post.”

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dai, Commanding Officer of the post, said that the activity was conducted orderly, ensuring absolute safety of people, vehicles, and equipment.

Over the past years, Thanh Luong Border Post has effectively implemented its political tasks and continuously concretized and met the military-civilian cooperation program’s targets, actively contributing to the hunger elimination and poverty reduction and socio-economic development cause in border areas.

The post has also strengthened such free health check-up and medicine provision programs to help raise locals’ awareness of disease prevention and control, and environmental sanitation, and promote their health care access.
