Hon Chuoi is an island without fresh water lakes or wells, depending on rainwater reserves for water. The gift from the Coast Guard Region 4 Command contributed to ensuring local people’s daily activities and easing their difficulties during drought so that they would feel secure and continue to reach out to the sea to develop economy and join hands with other forces to firmly protect the national sovereignty over sea and islands and maintain security, order, and safety.
