The program brought a festive Mid-Autumn atmosphere, with the children enjoying music, circus, and magic shows, along with an energetic lion dance performed by artists from Ho Chi Minh City. Additionally, a total of 230 gifts, worth over VND 100 million in total and sponsored by the otosaigon.com Community, were presented to disadvantaged children.
Political Commissar of Bu Chap Border Post Lieutenant Colonel Le Huu Phu said that the Mid-Autumn program for children in Quang Truc is annually-organized by the post’s officers and soldiers, with support from benefactors and sponsors. The event not only brings joy to local children, but also strengthens military-civilian bonds, fosters coordination in safeguarding national border security, and further highlights the image of border guard soldiers at the frontier.
Dinh Khac Hung, otosaigon.com Community’s head, said, “The Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration of love and sharing. It offers an opportunity for organizations to show greater care for children with affection and responsibility, fostering a joyful and healthy environment while upholding the nation’s cultural values.”
The “Border Mid-Autumn Festival” brought joy and warmth to disadvantaged children in Lam Dong’s border areas. It also provided vital support for ethnic minority students as they just entered the new school year, encouraging them to study diligently and grow into model students who live up to Uncle Ho’s teachings.
