Army Corps 15 hands over cattle to poor households
PANO – Army Corps 15 on June 27 in la Kla commune (Duc Co district, Gia Lai province) offered breeding cattle to two ethnic minority households in Duc Co and la Grai districts (Gia Lai province).
Two pairs of breeding cattle, worth 30 million each, were handed over to Ms Ro Lan H’Thuy’s family in Sung Le village (la Kla commune, Duc Co district) and Ms Mah Tham’s family in Lang village (la Chia commune, la Grai district). Earlier, the Army Corps 15 Command its affiliated unit, Company 74, had donated the money to purchase the cattle.

The support aimed to help the local people develop their household economies and get rid of poverty as well as the locality to soon become a new-style rural area.
In addition, it also contributed to ensuring political stability, maintaining public security and order along the borderline.
Since the beginning of this year, the unit has handed over 8 pairs of cattle to needy households in border areas where they are stationed.
