All People's Border Day observed in Soc Trang
PANO - Vinh Chau, Lai Hoa, Vinh Hai and Thanh Ba Border Posts under the Soc Trang provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with local authorities, on March 3, held various activities in celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Border Guard Force and the 32nd anniversary of the All People’s Border Day (March 3).

On this occasion, the units presented 104 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to needy and policy households, as well as people who took part in national sovereignty and security protection causes in the current context.
In addition, 50 scholarships, worth VND 1 million each, were also handed over to poor students with good academic records.
The activities aimed to encourage people to firmly protect national sovereignty and border security in the province.
Meanwhile, they also contributed to boosting military-civilian ties while reinforcing the great solidarity block along the shared borderline.
