100 gifts offered to needy households in border commune
PANO – Yok Don Border Post of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with Tu Tam Chi Lang Charity Association, handed over hundreds of gifts to policy and poor households in Krong Na border commune, Buon Don district, Dak Lak province, on May 29.
Accordingly, the delegation offered 100 gifts, worth VND 300,000 each, including rice, instant noodles, fish sauce and some necessities to the recipients.

According to Major Pham Van Ban, Deputy Political Commissar of Yok Don Border Post, Krong Na commune is an extremely difficult border commune of Buon Don district, with 1,660 households and 6,654 people. The rate of poor households accounts for more than 52%.
Over the past time, together with promptly implementing border management and protection, the border unit has also worked with other units stationed in the areas to make recommendations to higher levels and local authorities for local socio-economic development and poverty reduction.
