Youths actively implement military-defense tasks
PANO - Army Corps 18 or the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation under the Ministry of Defense is a defense-security enterprise tasked with doing business in combination with performing military-defense tasks.
Currently, the unit is managing and exploiting many types of modern helicopters such as Mi 171-V, Mi 172, EC-155B1, EC-225, Super Puma L2, Cabri G2, AW-189. At the end of this year, the unit will put into use the Bell-505 Helicopter.
Army Corps 18 operates in many localities of the country as well as provides flight services to foreign markets such as Norway, Malaysia, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Cambodia, and Laos.
In order to effectively exploit the modern technical equipment and meet the requirements of assigned tasks, young officers of Army Corps 18 consider command of foreign languages as a key to modern science and technology. To get this done, the troops try hard to study foreign languages through training programs and courses held by the unit and take advantage of holidays to participate in other courses.
Besides, young officers of the unit are also the leading force in improving professional qualifications, particularly flying skills, and aviation techniques.
Here are some photos featuring activities of young officers of Army Corps 18.
