Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Do Phu Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the PAN, said that the organizing board has received 139 entries in various genres since it was launched four months ago.

Through the contest, activities of the defense industry sector have been widely covered on PAN publications and the Economy and Defense Industry Magazine, drawing much attention from the community.

At the event, the organizing panel presented one first prize for the work “Khuc trang ca lang le” (Silent Epic) by Tran Le Nam from the Economy and Defense Industry Magazine, and two second prizes to a group of authors from the PAN and an author from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).

In addition, the organizing panel awarded the oldest author of the contest and the work with the most topical content.

Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the GDDI, reaffirmed that the contest attracted the participation of numerous reporters and correspondents and concluded successfully as planned. He hoped that the authors will continue collaborating with relevant GDDI’s units to promote information dissemination about the defense industry sector in the time to come.
