During the 35 years of construction and development, the VRTC has developed continuously and become a prestigious multi-sector science and technology center in Vietnam and Russia.

Research results of the center have significantly contributed to scientific and technological development in general, and the development of military science and technology in particular, meeting the mutual interests of the two countries.

According to Prof., Dr. Kucherenko Petr Aleksandrovich, Russian Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Coordinating Committee for the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center, the center is entering a new development period that it can make important breakthroughs as well as receive and apply new scientific knowledge to serve security and defense in the two countries.

The Russian deputy minister believed that the VRTC will continue to be one of the leading centers in Vietnam - Russia scientific and technical cooperation.

Speaking at the event, Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan underlined that the VRTC should enhance its capability in all aspects and further improve the quality and efficiency of the center’s activities, especially in science and technology.

She expressed her belief that the center would continue effectively implementing the motto “Cooperation, creativity, efficiency and substance” and obtain more significant achievements in the coming years, deserving to be one of the leading science and technology centers in Vietnam and Russia.
