PANO - Together with localities throughout the country, army units have actively supported the needy in welcoming a warm Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

The Vietnam Military Medical University’s mission visiting the family of its staff on duty on Nam Yet Island

Military Medical Hospital 103 of the Vietnam Military Medical University has sent a mission to inquire after and extend New Year greetings to the families of its six staff who are on duty in Nam Yet Island Infirmary in Truong Sa island district.

Meanwhile, a mission from Flotilla 102 of Coast Guard Region 1 Command presented five gifts to very difficult households in Xuan Pho commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province. The activity contributed to enhancing the military-civilian ties.

From February 7th to 16th, Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command cooperated with local departments to offer 270 gifts, worth VND 300,000 to VND 3.5 million each, to heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, invalids, sick soldiers, policy families, poor households and needy officers and troops in the locality.
