* The Lang Son provincial Military Command and Border Guard Command, and Unit 338 and Division 3 (Military Zone 1) sent about 2,000 troops and militiamen to clear landslides along roads, collect the garbage, and repair damaged houses.
* The Son La province’s Military Command mobilized 2,200 troops and militiamen to team up with local authorities and people to clear landslides and other consequences.
* Nearly 1,000 troops of the Lao Cai provincial Command helped people repair their houses after the typhoon.
* Hundreds of troops in Ha Giang and Lai Chau provinces took part in evacuating locals and their property to safe sites.
* Thousands of soldiers in Bac Kan, Yen Bai, Dien Bien and Cao Bang actively and swiftly arrived in storm-hit communes to help local victims return to their normal lives soon.
