The trainees to discuss the settlement of post-war unexploded ordnance during the course

During the course, which is part of education cooperation on military and defense between Vietnam and partner countries, trainees will learn more about Vietnam’s history of national construction and defense cause, defense policy and military power, people’s warfare and whole people's defense posture, as well as Vietnam’s policy on addressing maritime disputes with other relevant parties.

Furthermore, they will discuss the settlement of war-time landmines, bombs and other remaining unexploded ordnance which continue to cause deaths and injuries in Vietnam, study the Dien Bien Phu in the Air Campaign (Linebacker II) in December 1972 during the national resistance war against American imperialists, and join field trips to some localities' historical relics.

Through the course, these foreign defense officials will gain more understanding about the land, culture, people and arts of war of Vietnam.
