PANO – The Border Guard Command of the Central province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau inaugurated the “Uncle Ho with border troops” statue on May 5th.
The 1.8m high statute, designed by Vu Trong Khoi, with sophisticated sculptures, standing in the command’s headquarters, is a reminder of the heroic traditions of border guards in defending the national sovereignty and territory.

The inauguration ceremony aimed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification (April 30th), 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2nd) and 40th foundation anniversary of the province’s border guard force.
The command also launched the emulation campaign to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
