Leaders of the MND and the State Audit Office sign a coordination regulation.

Implementing previous cooperation regulations, every year, the State Audit Office pro-actively sent documents requiring the MND to provide necessary information for the building of the annual audit plan related to the defense sector and draft document on the annual audit plan.

Meanwhile, the MND’s Department of Finance regularly exchanged expertise and closely coordinated with the State Audit Office in providing information and selecting appropriate audit points, avoiding overlap between inspection and examination agencies.

The two sides also collaborated to create favorable conditions for the audit delegations’ activities and address arising issues in a timely and effective manner. The State Audit Office gave the MND enough information about the activities of audited units, thereby the MND took effective measures to raise the efficiency of leadership and manage and use public finance and public assets at military units.
