Accordingly, each unit should closely work with local authorities to grasp situation in the areas so as to be ready in any circumstances as well as maintain political security and social order during Tet.
Meanwhile, they were asked to well implement political education among troops, take care of troops’ lives, especially those stationed in remote areas.
* On the same day, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San paid a visit to troops of the Nam Dinh provincial Military and Border Guard Commands and Public Security Department.

Having been briefed upon the units’ task performance over the past time, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San hailed their achievements. As the Tet is just around the corner, the senior official requested them to maintain combat readiness, build plan and organize training program, grasp situations and make thorough preparations for a happy and safe Tet holiday.
* A delegation of the Central Military Commission (CMC), Ministry of National Defense, led by GDP’s Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet inspected combat readiness and extended Tet greetings to units in Military Region 4 (MR4). On the occasion, the GDP deputy chief sent Tet wishes to the troops and hoped that they would accomplish all political tasks.

On the same day, he also visited the Quang Binh and Nghe An provincial Military Commands. Applauding their achievements over the past time, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet asked them to strictly observe directives, resolutions and orders of the CMC, MND, MR4 Command and bring a happy and safe Tet festival for people.
* During his inspection in Gia Lai provincial Military Command and Depot K870 (General Department of Technical Affairs), GS’s Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh requested the units to promote training and grasp local situation, contributing to ensuring political security and social order.
Especially, the units should ensure a happy Tet holiday for their troops with absolute safety. They were also asked to implement gratitude work for policy households and national contributors, among others.
* In Ho Chi Minh City, on January 11, Deputy Chief of the GDP Senior Lieutenant General Do Can met with GDP’s organs in the South. At the get-together, the units briefed the delegation on their task performance in 2022 and orientations for 2023 as well as combat readiness work in preparation for the lunar New Year 2023.
In acknowledgement of the units’ achievements, the GDP’s deputy chief asked them to build strong Party organizations and comprehensively-strong units.
On the occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Do Can handed over certificates of merit to two outstanding collectives and individuals for well performing tasks in 2022.

* Deputy Chief of the GS Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia paid a working visit to military units in Dien Bien province, including the provincial Military and Border Guard Commands, Regiment 741 (Dien Bien provincial Military Command), Regiment 82 and Depot K79 (Military Region 2).
During the event, the GS leader requested the units’ chains-of-command to promote their leadership and ensure combat readiness so as to be ready in any circumstance.
During the upcoming Tet holiday, they should care for troops’ lives while promoting combat readiness in order to ensure a happy festival with absolute safety.
