PANO – Lieutenant Nguyen Thanh Son, a non-commissioned officer of the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command, has returned a lost purse, including over VND 25 million in cash, some personal papers and a credit card of Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, to its owner, Dinh Thi Thu Hien.
Earlier at 1:45pm on July 28th, the officer found the purse while being on duty at the command’s petrol station in Cham Mat ward, Hoa Binh city.
Immediately, he reported to his unit’s commander to find the owner. Based on the personal papers in the purse, the lost property belongs to Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hien in Dong Gao hamlet, Thong Nhat commune, Hoa Binh city.
An hour later, a couple on a motorbike came to the station to find the purse. After questioning the couple and verifying the information, those working at the station handed over the purse with all property to Ms. Hien.
Receiving the lost purse, she expressed her sincere thanks to Lieutenant Nguyen Thanh Son, hoping that such beautiful deeds should be multiplied in the society.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Tue, Logistics Director of the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command, highly appreciated Son’s deed, saying that as a party member, Son has been a responsible officer.
