Presenting Tet gifts to the border guards, General Tuan congratulated and appreciated the unit’s achievements over the past time. Especially, amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command has fulfilled dual tasks of protecting national border sovereignty and conducting pandemic prevention and control, contributing to the local socio-economic and cultural development as well as border guards’ and people-to-people diplomacy.
In the coming time, there are many difficulties facing border guards’ missions caused by the complicated developments of the pandemic. Therefore, the unit should closely work with local authorities to grasp the situations as well as promptly advise the Party committees and local authorities to do well in economic, cultural, and social development, said General Tuan.
In addition, the command was also urged by MR4’s leader to coordinate with relevant forces so as to firmly protect the border security and sovereignty and whole people’s border guard posture.
For their part, representatives of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command thanked MR4’s leaders for the care for the border troops.
