Major General Du Truong Giang extends Tet wishes and presents gifts to troops of the Binh Thuan provincial Border Guard Command.

General Giang highly appreciated the achievements of the unit’s troops in grasping situations in the area, sharing information, handling emergency issues, ensuring search and rescue work, and helping local people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

In the coming time, he asked the border guard unit to uphold the achieved results, and continue to embrace and implement resolutions and directives at all levels, perform its task of Party building, take care of troops' lives, and to further promote cooperation with other forces in handling emergency situations.

Especially, the unit should strictly maintain combat readiness and observe military discipline prior to Tet holiday 2020, he added.

On the occasion, General Giang also presented Tet gifts to troops and their families of the Binh Thuan provincial Border Guard Command.
