Accordingly, the launch of the database showed MND’s efforts in applying technology, digital transformation, legal document management, and state management on military and defense.
Meanwhile, the MND held an artistic exchange on law dissemination and education in response to the Vietnam Law Day (November 9). The program was an occasion to review 10-year implementation of the Law on Legal Dissemination and Education and two-year implementation of a project to promote the role of the Vietnam People’s Army in joining the field, and mobilizing locals to observe law from the grassroots level in the 2021-2027 period (Project 1371 in short).
Over the past years, the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense, and agencies and units in the whole military have actively responded to the Vietnam Law Day, strictly followed military-defense activities, combined the law implementation with their political tasks. Therefore, they have obtained many significant achievements.
In particular, the law dissemination and education among troops and people throughout the country, especially those in border areas and on islands, have been promoted in an effective manner. Meanwhile, agencies and units in the whole military have actively carried out activities including law enforcement, examination, inspection, auditing, investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment enforcement, to name but a few, contributing to raising troops and people’s awareness of law observance; strictly following the national and military discipline, etc.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong required agencies and units, as well as troops in the whole military to pay more attention to the building and completion of institutions on military and defense; promote the implementation of the Constitution and newly-promulgated legal documents; continue to conduct research to upgrade and improve the interface and features; and promptly update legal documents and executive guidance documents.
Meanwhile, troops in the whole military should further study to enrich their knowledge of law and enhance law enforcement capacity. Also, they should strictly observe military discipline and actively popularize law observance among people via various forms, among others.
