Missile teams join command exercise
PANO – The Air Defense Air Force Service opened an exercise for combat teams of the command posts at the missile regiment level on July 23 at the Air Defense Air Force Academy.

Present at the opening ceremony were Major General Nguyen Quang Tuyen, Deputy Commander of the Air Defense Air Force Service and head of the Steering Board of the exercise, representatives from relevant agencies of the service and the General Staff and six air divisions and 12 combat teams of the regiment-level command posts.
Under the theme “Missile regiments in collaboration with relevant forces to counter enemy's hi-tech weapon attacks and safeguard assigned targets,” the exercise was organized to assess the capabilities of combat teams of regiment-level commanders, contributing to improving the missile units’ combat readiness in the current context.
During the four-day exercise, participating teams take part in exams in political awareness, logistics, and technical services, prepare documents, and practice counter-attack operations against enemy’s air raids.
