Military units pay tribute to fallen soldiers
PANO – A delegation of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee and the provincial Military Command, on December 22, offered incense in tribute to national heroes and martyrs at Ha Long city’s Monument to Heroes and Martyrs and the Monument of the first Secretary of the Quang Ninh mines Vu Van Hieu.

The event was held on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 – 2021) and the 32nd anniversary of the Whole People's Defense Festive Day (December 22, 1989 – 2021).
At the ceremony, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the struggles for national liberation.
* On the same day, a mission of the Nghe An provincial Military Command offered incense to late President Ho Chi Minh and martyrs.
At Vinh city’s War Cemetery, the mission laid flowers at the fallen soldiers’ graves in commemoration of their contribution to the cause of national construction and defense.

Paying respect to national heroes and martyrs, the officers and soldiers of Nghe An vowed to fulfill all assignments, contributing to maintaining political stability, promoting the province’s socio-economic developments.
* The officers and soldiers of Division 363 of the Air Defense – Air Force Service offered incense on December 22 at the Memorial House for War Martyrs and Heroes of the division in Nam Son ward, Kien An district, Hai Phong city.
In the solemn atmosphere, Division 363’s troops offered incense and observed a minute’s silence in remembrance of fallen soldiers who had devoted their lives to national independence and freedom.

The troops committed themselves to overcoming all hardships and difficulties to build a strong “exemplary and typical” unit and a “revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern” service, contributing to firmly protecting the airspaces of the Fatherland in the new context.
