PANO – Senior Lieutenant-General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Defence Minister, led a high-ranking military delegation to visit the Military Technical Academy on April 24th.
Since 2008, the Academy has trained thousands of cadets and civilian students, as well as provided many training courses to officers from the whole-army units. Besides, it also fostered international cooperation in training Lao and Cambodian officers, building up curricula in association with Russian universities, as well as sending its lecturers and cadets abroad.
Addressing the ceremony, General Vinh highly appreciated the achievements of the Academy’s troops and cadets over the past time, and also urged them to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Defence Ministry’s instructions on defence tasks and promote teaching, learning and quality of scientific research and international training cooperation.
