General Don highlighted that the ministry’s steering committee reviewed organization work in quarantine areas and promptly increased training for anti-Covid-19 forces.
In addition, military units have also preformed their tasks in receiving and serving quarantined people and worked with relevant agencies to address cases in violation of the quarantine regulations.
Further, border guards have also joined hands with relevant forces to closely control the shared borderline, contributing to ensuring security, social order, and safety in border areas.
PM Phuc acknowledged and highly valued achievements of the MND, considering the military the national leader in the fight against Covid-19.
He expects the military to continue making recommendations to the Party, State, and Government to implement Covid-19 prevention and control, actively take measures to prevent the spread of the virus in the military, and ensure good health for its troops.
Furthermore, they should strictly observe directions from the Prime Minister on this work and closely coordinate with relevant forces to successfully combat the pandemic.
