PANO – The General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army on March 11th handed over a telemedicine station to Military Hospital 175, under the Ministry of National Defence.

The mobile station includes a bus, an electric generator, equipment to send and receive photos, videos, and sound, as well as medical equipment to provide health check-ups and non-clinical testing for patients.

The telemedicine station is to provide health check-ups and treatment for locals on islands, rescue disaster and accident victims, as well as connect mobile first aid teams with the hospital’s headquarters.

After the handover ceremony, the hospital started building management regulations to effectively operate the station to meet the demand for healthcare in the current context.
