Military exemplary soldiers honored
PANO – 127 exemplary soldiers in carrying out the movement, “Promoting traditions, contributing talents, deserving to be Uncle Ho soldiers”, will be honored at a meeting on May 16 and 17 in Military Region 4, announced Major General Ho Ba Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Training, at a press briefing on May 11 in Hanoi.

Launched by the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission in 2013, the movement is a practical effort to realize the Politburo’s Instructions 03 on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example and present Instructions 05 on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought morality, and lifestyle and the 12
th Party Congress’s Resolution on building the Party.
According to a report delivered at the press briefing, over the past three years, the movement has attracted the active and responsible participation of military units and troops, showing troops’ love for beloved Uncle Ho.
Many movements and models have been effectively applied, contributing to raising the political and combat strength of the Vietnam People’s Army to firmly protect the nation in the current context, encouraging troops in the whole army to successfully fulfill all assigned political missions, and strengthening people’s trust. Through the movement, the unity among troops and military-civilian relations has been consolidated, deserving to be a loyal and reliable combat and political force of the Party, State, and people.
At present, units in the whole army are popularizing the examples on printed, online newspapers, magazines, and so on.
