On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Mechanical-Electric Enterprise handed over support to the Tay Ninh border guards to prevent and control COVID-19, including VND 100 million in cash and other medical supplies and necessities, worth VND 500 million in total.

On behalf of the troops, Political Commissar of the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Tai Son thanked the enterprises for their assistance, contributing to helping border troops fulfill all assigned missions.

In the framework of the program, they also visited and presented necessities and cash to troops in action at checkpoints in Tan Chau and Chau Thanh border districts.

* On the same day, medical supplies and necessities were also given to border guards in southwestern border provinces.

During the event, the companies granted medical supplies and necessities, including medical face masks, instant noodles, and protective clothing, worth nearly VND 1.3 billion, to border guards in the southwestern border provinces for the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

On behalf of the Border Guard Command, Major General Nguyen Hoai Phuong highly appreciated the support of the organizations and enterprises, affirming that the meaningful gifts would encourage the anti-COVID-19 front-line border forces in the fight against the pandemic.
