Da Nang border guards tighten COVID-19 preventive measures
PANO - These days, due to the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Da Nang Municipal Border Guard Command has implemented urgent measures to fight the disease and prevent it from spreading into the country through border gates at local seaports and airport.
According to Senior Colonel Vo Tin, Deputy Commander of the Municipal Border Guards, the unit has considered COVID-19 prevention and control a major and urgent task, and directed relevant units to conduct comprehensive measures to fight the pandemic.

Colonel Tran Huu Thanh, Commander of the Son Tra Border Station, said that his unit has set up two checkpoints with three personnel at each to instruct people at Tho Quang Fishing Port to strictly implement the pandemic preventive measures.
In addition, the unit sent forces to collaborate with the management board of the port to check the implementation of distancing regulations for vehicles and people.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Ngoc Minh Hai, Political Chief of the Border Guard Station of Da Nang Port, held that his unit has enhanced information dissemination on the pandemic for local people and troops in Thanh Binh and Thuan Phuoc wards of Hai Chau district.
At the Tien Sa Port, the unit has coordinated with other forces to promptly detect and isolate suspected cases while conducting appropriate measures to ensure safety for its troops.
