Accordingly, the Vietnam Military History Museum project was approved by the Prime Minister for the period from 2019 to 2022. The project was divided into 49 bidding packages. The project’s implementation progress has been in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State and Ministry of National Defense concerning capital construction investment and bidding, ensuring the project’s quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation.

Speaking at the conference, Gen. Cuong highly appreciated the close coordination in the implementation of the Vietnam Military History Museum project between the MND’s functional agencies and the project management board over the past time, in spite of many difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, he confirmed that the Vietnam Military History Museum is a key project featuring the sentiments of the Party, the State and the Ministry of National Defense. He asked the units to continue coordinating with other relevant agencies to speed up the project’s construction while ensuring labor safety and the project’s quality and progress as planned.
