PANO – A delegation from the Ministry of National Defence, led by Major General Ho Thuy, Director of Defence Ministry’s Social Insurance, on October 16th inspected the implementation in the second phase of a pilot project on caring for soldiers through medical insurance, at organs of the Ministry’s General Department of Politics.
Over the past time, the general department’s constituent units have thoroughly grasped and strictly carried out Instruction 709 of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission and Defence Minister’s Decision 4664 on applying a health program for troops by medical insurance. They sent delegations to instruct units how to use ASMS management software.
As a result, after three months, 96.12% of soldiers had medical insurance cards.
At the working session, the participants proposed ideas to manage and use cards in line with reality of the units.
