PANO – The 16th anniversary of the military creative youth movement was observed at the Vietnam Military Medical University on May 18th.

At the honoring ceremony

Present at the event were Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, the Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, and the Chairman of the Award Board.

Nearly 200 of the 379 projects and initiatives submitted were selected for this year’s award.

Addressing the event, Lieut. Gen. Nghia hailed the Army Youth Board, the Department of Military Science of the Ministry of National Defence, and the jury for their achievements in the military creative youth movement since 2010.

He also commended the active participation of military individuals and organizations in the movement. The general urged units to continue to discover and cultivate those keen on scientific research, as well as to encourage and create favorable conditions for young officers to show their talents and creativity.
