Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich visits the Vietnamese War Veterans’ Association Central Committee

PANO – On behalf of the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich, Director of the General Department of Politics on April 28th visited the Vietnamese War Veterans’ Association Central Committee on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

During the visit, General Lich highly appreciated the contributions of the central committee’s sub-associations to the army building cause. The Director of the General Department of Politics agreed on the committee’s plan on the celebration of the victorious Dien Bien Phu victory and briefed the committee on the activities of troops in the whole army to mark the coming big event.

The same day, Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich visited and presented gifts to former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, and offered incense in commemoration of late General Chu Huy Man and late Senior Lieutenant General Song Hao and presented gifts to the late generals’ families.
