PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc, Deputy Minister of National Defence, on August 26th paid a visit to the Military Command of the northern mountainous province of Bac Kan.

At the working session, General Duc valued the province’s achievements in implementing the national defence and military missions, as well as developing the socio-economy.

He stressed that the provincial Command should uphold its traditions, effectively make recommendations on national defence and military work to the local authorities, promote the quality of training and combat readiness, and be a main force in overcoming the natural disasters' consequences and eliminating hunger and reducing poverty.

Besides, the Deputy Minister asked the unit to complete the construction of its new headquarters as scheduled.
