General Vinh made that comment while paying an inspecting visit to the factory which is under the Air Defense - Air Force Service on July 7.
During the visit, General Vinh conducted a field trip to workshops to eye-witness the factory’s workers’ daily routine.
After that he was reported on the factory’s task performance and major operations delivered by Senior Colonel Mai Xuan Canh, Director of Factory A41.

In particular, the factory has nine key production lines and 27 technical guarantee facilities equipped with modern technologies. Since 2015, the factory has actively applied hi-tech to production. Alongside doing research and carrying out technical improvement projects, the factory has successfully produced and tested various technical materials to replace imported products and ensure the good maintenance and repairs of all types of aircraft.
Attentively, in the first half of this year, the factory has checked and approved, conducted flight tests and handed over five aircraft. It has also inspected, repaired and maintained thousands of equipment, and technical materials, meeting technical and safety standards. The factory has gained over VND 121 billion in revenue in the first six months of this year, ensuring good living standard for its cadres and employees.
Speaking highly of the factory’s duty implementation, General Vinh emphasized that the good performance of factory A41’s maintenance and repair duties importantly contributes to the task fulfillment of combat units. Therefore, the factory should speed up its projects while paying attention to fostering and attracting more high quality human resources. The further application of hi-tech and science to duty implementation is both short- and long-term missions of the factory, the deputy defense minister said.
General Vinh also urged the factory to closely follow technical procedures in maintenance and repairs, and comply with manufacturers’ technical standards, as well as improve the quality of repairs, thereby contributing to the Air Defense - Air Force Service’s accomplishment of political tasks in the coming time.
